Elon Musk spent 44 billion dollars on buying Twitter, only to change everything which made Twitter brilliant. And now, as Twitter is on the verge of failure, Musk claims it is all the advertisers’ fault.
But is it?

Twitter emotional triggers
@hehemrin @randahl
I don’t think I can even follow links to Twitter anymore. The last time I did the algorithm then pushed “woman beats her son for sleeping with her friend”, no joke, that’s what it said, and “trapped dog…”. This is after I purposely only liked cute dog and cat vids. No joke, I did that solidly for a while to see what would happen. There is some kind of rehooking going on.
I’m prepared to deal with shitiness but I pick my fights. Third party apps were killed to facilitate the algorithm on the native app. The algorithm is designed to trigger an emotional response. It does. But the thing is, I don’t have to. I think I’m now fully out, which is sad because great people are still on there as it’s right for them (no judgement).
