I use Borg for my wife's system. Been happy with it so far. Seems like it has lots of features of you need them but can be simple to use for smaller needs as well.
@publiclewdness Thanks, yes, that is my impression of Borg. I've started a scheduled configuration of home-backup to an external usb-drive. I'll let it go for some days to see how it works and learn. Then I plan to have (at least) one more external drive, and also consider something remote.
