Does anyone have any FOSS suggestion for backing up photos on a personal home server from a Google-free Android device? I've been having issues with Nextcloud for years, no matter what setup I use, and I'm ready to give up on it as a photo/video backup tool and try something else.

@SylvieLorxu You mean backup or sync? Re sync: Not a personal home server, in my case, but I use Murena cloud which is related to my /e/OS. It works when I changed settings in my Mullvad VPN app for split tunneling to set this traffic go outside the VPN. Murena cloud is actually based on Nextcloud.
