Most people that I know are (sort of) data hoarders and like to keep records of things. I like to keep some sort of history of just about everything. And I think that's my main issue with #Signal. Chats are treated as ephemeral and there's no great way to keep an ongoing chat history syncing across devices. I wish that weren't the case. It's why I willingly continue to use iMessage.
