Would I switch to PureOS in my desktop machine? Since I like to play Steam games and I have NVIDIA GPU, I'm sticking with Arch Linux.

Of course, AMD does have proprietary firmware blob, so I won't get the FSF-liked experience for gaming. Pure open-source drivers for games is impossible when it comes to Steam and Proton.
