My modified #PopOS is having a risky window system flaw where when a new window opens, sometimes the one underneath it retains focus... I've almost copy-pasted some stuff into a chat when it was supposed to go somewhere else.
My setup is really glitchy. I want to switch to something that works better, but I have so much config that might get lost... I think I'll hold out until #COSMICDE . At least until it works on #Nvidia + #Wayland !
@golemwire what's modified with your setup?
@CenturyAvocado It is the (pre-modern-COSMIC) Pop OS desktop, the one that's GNOME with all the Pop OS extensions, but with some extensions disabled and some added. Come to think of it again, I didn't change a whole lot... maybe their build (?) of GNOME just doesn't work correctly with "Cosmic Dock", "Cosmic Workspaces", "Pop COSMIC" et. al. disabled.
@golemwire Interesting to know possible failure modes. I'm using Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS which would have been a fresh install but only "Dash to Panel" and gSnap as additional extensions.
