Paul's statements about homosexuality weren't e.g. ‘do not do homosexuality the way the Greeks do’ but more like an unequivocal, non-culture-relative ‘do not do homosexuality, it is bad’.

“For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.” (ESV)
This passage regards homosexuality as bad. Thus you must reject Paul if you accept homosexuality, even if homosexuality was usually at that time and place “an old man raping younger and poorer boys” (which this passage doesn't seem to be talking about).
