@paoloredaelli @downey hmm i think the visual navigation buttons in the old Nautilus are quite nice :) lots of visible menues, not a bad idea, though it is more a mouse based design and doesn't lend itself to touch input as much. Also the refresh button doesn't exist in current Nautilus and it doesn't correctly refresh when adding files to a folder or deleting them would be nice to have!

It is Nautilus, just an older version. I've used then all and AFAIK current version has all the features that version had. Yes, the UI changed, I dare say for the better.
Yet I would like a retro theme like this 😀
