Lots of progress on the overview. Also, it stays 100 fps the whole time now when maximized - previously the transition was too slow.

@alex_m that looks amazing i thought it had noticed slow downs recently after an update on Ubuntu (on my MacBook Pro 2011) when compared to the initial release of overview (nix that i thought you were demoing the desktop windows arrangement)
