Hello Fediverse! As we are going to begin setting up publishing for our newsletter and any other articles that we write, we were wondering if any of you knew of a good hosting solution. Firstly, we need to be able to upload PDFs, to upload our newsletter as a PDF. Secondly, it would be nice to be able to upload and read the articles individually too. They could be published separately as well, using an entire different software if that is better, too.

One of the options that we thought of would be to publish individual articles using some kind of federated blogging platform, such as WriteFreely or Plume. Would this be a good idea? Do you have any suggestions?

PS: on the subject of federated blogging applications, do you guys have any suggestions for good instances to sign up to?

@yac_ct I was going to suggest possibley self-hosting using a freedombox. They come in a ready to use kit now through olimex. Although there are issues involved with that such as needing a static IP, and DNS routing.
