last year i tried to sell my old synology array on ebay. I found a buyer, and I tried to ship it via UPS.

UPS destroyed the gear, costing me ~1600 dollars, ignored/refused my damage claims, left me high and dry and with a pissed off buyer. I'll never use them again.

for them to make any claims about "the economy", I have only to look this pile of emails and receipts reflecting their ineptitude.
