Teixeria seems to hit the "E" pretty hard in the MICE (Money, Ideology, Compromise, Ego) spectrum for identifying traitors, but in an unusual way. Instead of "I'll show these ungrateful bastards at work how smart I am", it was "I'll show these random kids on my Discord channel how cool I am".

Ego definitely looks like the biggest factor, but his support for antigovernment people in Ruby Ridge, Idaho and Waco, Texas makes me think ideology was part of this leak.

+1. And he comes across as extremely lonely. Like he was doing it to feel belonging, acceptance. It’s still the E for Ego, but I want to believe that the root motivation is deeper than “young men gonna chest thump”.
