Stranger emails me out of the blue on the Internet. With no comment about whether we have a connection or not he launches right into a request for help with a browser printing problem.

Do the usual rules for polite customer service apply?

Reminds me of an email I saw accusing a website of greed for running ads and asking for donations (email apparently from a freeloader). The laborer is worthy of his pay (1 Timothy 5:18).

@everlastingrocks oh yeah that demand for no compensation for effort and money spent on a freely-accessible project is very common. And stupid.
