I finally managed to play @grumpygamer's Return to Monkey Island. Great #game, I must say. Specifically the dialogues and their wit were a blast.
I also enjoyed the graphic style alot, which draw some criticism by fans when the first screenshots were released. To me, it does feel like #MonkeyIsland, but in a fresh look.
The hint book is a nice addition. IMHO that is a nice way to bring good old point and click #adventures to the modern, fast paced #world.
@erhardt @grumpygamer i enjoyed it a lot too! Bought it when it came out and played it immediately. The art style is fantastic and fits the game much better than the other 'official' monkey island follow-ups that were made (i never liked those gfx). The only downside? It ended too soon 😄
True, I also prefer the art style over the remakes! They were fun to play again, though.
I wishlisted it and only bought it some weeks back - shame on me 😉
