The Danish government is planning to reduce their use of Microsoft's software.

During the summer of 2025, half of the employees at one government agency are to start using LibreOffice, with the goal that the whole agency should be free from Microsoft by autumn.

This is part of a strategy that aims at strengthening Denmark's digital sovereignty and reduce their dependence on US tech companies.
