@tschaefer I do think switching off IPv4 is the way to go.

It could be done as a gradual thing, like first just switch off IPv4 during one hour per day, then make it two hours, and so on. Do that more and more over a period of a few years, so that those who don't support IPv6 yet get both a clear incentive and plenty of time to sort it out.

Have a look at RFC 8925.

Almost any today's smartphones tell the DHCP server you may switch off IPv4 , I'll be fine with it.
