@liliputing_ from reading this article and knowing nothing more about it my first theory would be that Google stores the weights of the AI models somewhere inaccessible by the rest of the OS and as soon as you unlock your bootloader and therefore get access to that storage it deletes them to make sure nobody gets them? 🤔

@DrRac27 @liliputing_ Either that or the relevant apps simply check the bootloader status. I wonder if re-locking the bootloader would help.
It does – all the reports I’ve seen indicate that the affected apps begin working again if you re-lock the bootloader.
