⚡️The first F-16's from NATO allies have arrived in Ukraine. The total amount is not known, but is said to be small still. It is uncertain if Ukrainian pilots, who have been training with Western allies, will be able to use the warplanes immediately.

It's going to take years for #Ukraine to build up an F-16 squadron. They have about a half a dozen pilots that can fly them, but it will take hours and hours of flight time and training before they can fight with them.

I'm so glad that they've started though and the Ukrainian military can still use them just as diversions and to strike even more fear in their enemies.

@GreenFire They aren't the wonder weapon people think them to be, but they will still be immediately useful for air defence. They will be used deep in Ukraine, far away from frontlines, to shoot down Russian missiles and drones.
