What's the pure economic productivity boost of never having to think about transport infrastructure?

You show up, and there's a train going in every direction every 15min? On time, quiet, clean, stable WiFi, people say "Gesundheit" when someone sneezes?

@gwagner that would be a nice economic analysis to see! What you describe is what I experienced in Tokyo. I think Vienna is also a good example. Tokyo vs NYC for a comparison of metacities and Vienna vs NYC for cities with a large portion of immigrants
