Dear #InfoSec, I know there was a time when @signalapp used TLS as the client-server transport. Is my understanding correct that this is no longer the case?

Do you have any indication that they have stopped?
During their last call for Signal proxies the config indicated pretty clearly that this is still the case.
@privateger yeah, I saw that – but does this mean that Signal always uses TLS as the transport layer, or just in case of proxies? I cannot find a clear yes.no answer anywhere.
