I haven't reported on the #gasless #heating front for a while. And the reason for that is that it's boring AF. Yup, here I am sitting in a chair again, with a room temperature of 15 °C again, wearing normal clothes again, locally heating with a portable foldable #infrared panel again, being entirely comfortable again.

Aside from a cold spell at the start of December which set a record low of 13 °C, the room temperature naturally likes to stay between 15 and 17 °C.
We're at the start of another cold spell now, but so far the sun is shining and the indoor temperature is 17 °C.
Just hoping the outdoor "#fridge" doesn't accidentally turn into an outdoor freezer. #FridgeOff.
@Coffee my family of four keeps the temp around 17C, and for the most part, we're just used to it and use no additional heating. Our office in our apartment has a lot of windows, so it is often around 15C and that can be hard to work at a computer. In there, I actually use IR to heat my feet because I hate having cold feet. Any colder and it is hard to type. Otherwise, we're fine.
@eighthave Before going completely unheated I used to set it to 17.5 in the morning when I started feeling a bit chilly (so not immediately on waking). Then later in the day I might turn it up if I still felt cold, depending on need. I had to wear more layers then, though.
Yeah, as long as your feet and hands are warm, you're warm. My hands tell me when it is time to step up the heat (and/or eat something). I find heating my legs to be more comfortable and effective than heating my torso.
