i put some generic stuff.

i think it is related to "sim toolkit" or similarly named. probably almost all modem chips have support to it, but user interface need to communicate with the modem chip. basically it is AT commands to the modem.

i don't have direct information that mobile linux has support for sim toolkit.

@zetabeta @phosh @agx @janvlug @jolla thank you for details. I'm very exited because it let sign in into hundrets of services in Finland exept banks. Same could be replicated to different countries.

I use it daily with my #flx1s. I think the base support in this case comes from Ofono and would be very surprised if it does not work with Jolla but can't tell for sure. Also I am not sure about other options but definately doable there too 😊️

It works. Now I can login into Finnish governmental and municipal services, insurance matters, health care, and many others exept banking with #mobileCertificate on #linuxMobile #mobileLinux

Next step to find proper desktop integration and upstream it.

@oleksii What made you roll your own QMI over QRTR instead of adding the CAT service to libqmi??

@dos don't know half of this words yet :D
This is something what I started to learn and practice. Please share any good practice
