@mariusor @mkljczk I believe there's not a single well-supported phone in this family of SoCs (MediaTek Dimensity) so I don't know what makes you think this one will be an exception.

@mariusor @mkljczk Ah okay. The emoticon made me suspicious but the fact that you linked to it convinced me otherwise. I think there's enough people out there who could genuinely mean it unaware of differences, so better to be cautious ;)

@dos on the other hand Sailfish OS is a full blown linux distribution. I am not knowledgeable enough to know if it also relies on android for the hardware access drivers (as it does for the Xperia models they support) but maybe Jolla did some underground work to have linux native drivers for it.
