hmm so on #GNOME 48 my Snapdragon laptop now shows the power profile quicksetting and I can switch between "balanced" and "power saver".

does this actually do something on ARM?

Running the daemon with -vv didn't reveal much either

GNOME quick settings with the "power mode" button now available

@cas If `powerprofilesctl` shows "driver: placeholder", then... no, it doesn't do anything 😜

@cas Wait, there is a "trickle charge" action that may be performed. I'm not sure what it's supposed to achieve though... 🤔
