- It charges slowly. Slowly enough that it's been a PITA. Slowly enough that I plugged it into my workbench #PinePower to measure exactly how slowly: 5V / 1.8A (9W). Which makes the 20W wall wart that came with it a little funny.

- I'm not sure I've ever gotten it up to 100%, but I'm frustrated with the battery life. Charge it for a few hours in the morning, leave it idle on the table all day, it's dead when I get home in the evening.

@lukeshu That does not sound good 🙁. The device is definitely not friendly to every charger - see forums.puri.sm/t/usb-dcp-5v-1-, what I use forums.puri.sm/t/a-humble-libr (15 Watt, btw), here's something recent with advice on how to reset the battery so it charges fully: forums.puri.sm/t/three-issues-

@devrtz also has a PinePower and a #Librem5, so if there's some trick to charging the Librem 5 properly with it, he might know.

Hope this helps!

@linmob @lukeshu @devrtz "The device is definitely not friendly to every charger" - it should be friendly to every PD or BC1.2 complaint charger that can provide enough current at 5V.

Not every charger is complaint though 😣

@dos @lukeshu @devrtz Sorry, that was poorly phrased - I recall initial difficulties when I had gotten my Librem 5 and did not rely on 'known good chargers and cables'. Overall, the situation has improved a lot since then.
