I am on an impromptu trip to an unfamiliar area due to a family emergency, and my rental car had no navigation built in. This meant I truly needed to depend on live turn-by-turn GPS navigation in Pure Maps on my Librem 5 for the first time.

It actually worked great! I packed a car vent magnetic mount and I was able to route to various destinations, reroute automatically, and otherwise use it like you'd expect.

Update: I was able to use my Librem 5 and Pure Maps for navigation throughout my trip. As general purpose navigation tool it did the job, and after using it for almost a week here are the things that still need improvement:

* GPS would drift 60-100 ft sometimes, moving me off route. Probably a L5 GPS sensitivity issue.
* Ability to route to a specific address instead of search.
* General improvements for search in an area (find gas stations/food near me).

@kyle You'll make it less likely to drift by enabling Galileo and BeiDou constellations and uploading up-to-date almanac/ephemeris data: source.puri.sm/-/snippets/1207
