After almost 2 years of daily driving #librem5 as my main phone I gave up.
Initially the battery lasted for a very short time (like few hours). But I could live with that. Recently this was greatly improved (it could last whole day), but still I kept it connected to a cable out of habit.
For a very long time I didn't try to use the sdcard slot, because I had no need for it. But when I finally tried, it turned out it doesn't work (purism forums has a bunch of topics on that, it's not an uncommon issue). But I could live with that.
The GPS receiver also does not work (see https://forums.puri.sm/t/librem-5-gps-location-tracking/14153/285). But I could live with that.
The tiny metal swing thingy you press with a needle to push out the sdcard and sim card tray broke off. But I could live with that.
Hard to tell exactly when, but my phone started to behave weirdly with cellular connection. I didn't receive SMS and calls. And there was no indication on the phone that something is wrong. And I could not live with that.

@etam I'm not aware of any remaining issues with SMS and call reliability! Did that perhaps start to happen after enabling suspend? What is your modem firmware version? (you can check with AT+BMSWVER)
When it comes to GPS, you may want to check https://source.puri.sm/-/snippets/1207 out. This is the result of my recent research on assisted GPS and isn't integrated in the OS yet, but is going to be in the future.
