@neauoire In GTK the distinction between pointer and cursor (the text caret) was very explicit, which was important because the thing I was doing with it was manipulating the cursor to make it move along with the pointer and vice versa (it turned out it felt weird to most people, but imo it was kinda good UX)

@faun @neauoire isn't the cursor the blinking line where the keyboard is going to be interpreted or a character placed, and the pointer is where mouse clicks are going to trigger something?
