I'm starting a contract today to implement a reusable CRDT library, which I'm keen to get used by existing opensource editors like Blender, LibreOffice, InkScape, etc, etc, etc. Help give those projects new life in the era of Google Docs without sacrificing privacy!

This'll be a C library, though I'd be interested in creating GObject bindings because there's some great opportunities there.

What is a CRDT? Peer-to-peer collaborative editting!

Cool! Many years ago, say 2007 or so, Inkscape did have an experimental collab feature. I assume it was too hacky to be kept.
