@jason123santa @sotneStatue @midka you can add a relay through the web GUI, but it doesn't bring the relay. You'd need a relay somewhere e.g. St your provider.

After some thought I solved the problem differently when I started with yunohost. I decided against a relay host, because the mainenance work would have been higher than for a simple vpn gateway.

My internet router has got a wireguard connection to a system running on an IP good for sending email and I configured policy routing to route any outgoing smtp connection through the vpn and over the known good IP.

If the vpn connection is not available for any reason routing falls back to my home connection and I can still deliver the emails that are accepted by the receiving end.

Incoming email can reach me over both ways while the primary mx is pointing to my home connection.
