It wouldn't surprise me if there were millions of people who gave up on the Linux desktop because of Nvidia driver issues. Thank you for solving one of the biggest hurdles in adoption. This should receive the Linux news of the year award.
One question though, how were you able to do it so quickly at such an incredibly high quality. I was surprised to see how the Zink lead developer was gushing at the quality of this driver, especially before the 1.0 release.
@adilarif It helps that I'd already written most of NVK in my head years ago. By the time I sat down to start working on it, I already had a solid architecture in mind.
