It might sound weird but I actually believe that leaving #Twitter & joining #Mastodon made me a much better person.

Gone are the days of doom scrolling through tweets of extreme & hateful trending topics & interacting with people who seemed to be glued to an app for attention seekers.

I was one of them for some 15 years & constantly thought that I need to produce content for likes & RTs.

Mastodon feels like a combination of a Spa & a coffee house chat with kind & like minded people.
