I finally threw Mullvad under the bus and got PIA, now that they knocked $3 off their monthly rate. Someday I'll be able to get a multi-month or year plan, but not this month.

I'm trying a new distro. It's beautiful, has a whole lot of great features built in, is based on Ubuntu 19.04... and is written by some ultra-right-wing nutjobs, with a few of the inclusions (built-in tabs on Firefox, included plugins in Kodi) exposing that. Don't have a clue why I would want to visit Prophetic-News.com or Infowars...

Two more days before Tony Hughes and I record another exciting episode of Distrohoppers' Digest. Sabayon, Endeavour OS and many foibles with OpenMandriva.

Distrohoppers' Digest has gone over the 300 downloads mark for both Episodes 003 and 004!

I reformatted my IdeaPad and have installed Linux Mint, Mageia 7, Sabayon, and, just to get my boot back, Ubuntu Budgie 19.04. so far, I have not been able to get Mageia to update. Sabayon looks great, but I really wonder how far I'm going to be able to go with it, as it is based on Gentoo and I know hardly anything about it.

Episode 004 of Distrohoppers' Digest is about to drop. Keep your podcatcher's eyes peeled or get the RSS feed from distrohoppersdigest.blogspot.c

"SMART (surveillance marketed as revolutionary technology)"

That's a great acronym!

Episode 001 of Distrohoppers' Digest has been downloaded over 1,500 times!

Distrohoppers' Digest Episode 003 is in the can, should be available in a day or two.

I can't believe I posted all over the internet that I loaded Slackware 14.2, commented on how it still has KDE 4.12, and got zero response from the people who know me and know I've never run Slackware.

@gdroid@mastodon.technology Questionable Content? Gunnerkrigg Court? Devil's Panties? Girls With Slingshots? Schlock Mercenary? Darths and Droids? Tons of webcomics out there, this selection is far too limited.

Amazon out microphones into homes and told everyone they only listen when activated. When we learned otherwise, nobody threw their Echos away. Our privacy deteriorates daily and people just yawn.

What the heck is FVWM? Not familiar with that window manager.
