Really gotta wonder why 16-port switches that can be used on a desktop are so rare.
For example Ubiquiti have the EdgeSwitch 10X, adding an extra row of Ethernet ports to that can't be the hardest thing in the world, and since it's currently fanless, I doubt it would require any more than maybe a single fan.
Instead, 16 or 24 port switches can usually only be had in full rack mount cases, except like 50% of the inside is nothing but air.
