Dear Santa, 🎅 🤶

A few years ago you brought me Flatpak and I love it so very much ❤️ :flatpak:

For Christmas this year I would like a Flatpak CLI for developers. 🧑‍💻

It would let me build, publish, lint, release, clean, debug, test, manage dependencies 📦

So that me and my friends can use our existing dev tools without having to deal with or implement new ones 🎁

Also to automate and streamline the submitting process

Thank you, Santa

@sonny I'm Go Team Flatpak all the way, but managing dependencies sounds an awful lot like the work of a classical distro. I have the feeling this is the start of a deep rabbit hole. Learning from and cooperating with the people doing it for a long time might be a wise move.
Been thinking about this for a while already. It probably will become more than a bit of glue code.

@v02460 it's not comparable.

Flatpak dependencies here means

runtimes, sdks, extensions and modules

The developer of the app would manage them directly.
