@yisraeldov There are some sketchy exchanges that operate in places like China and Russia, it's up to you whether there trust worthy or not. Any exchange that operates in a lot of western countries by law has to know who you are mainly for taxation purposes.

I don't have problems paying taxes (well I do but that is another story). My problem is the buacracy around paying taxes. I want to avoid the headache. Do you have an example of one of these "shady" and exchanges?

For some exchanges, they only require lots of information for fiat trading so another option would be to exchange it for bitcoin and use ecommerce sites and services that accept it. You could always buy something, then sell it for cash.
