@killyourfm The.nice thing about federated services like Mastodon is that you can follow people from multiple different instances. I tried to find more FOSS ones for discovery of people to follow, but most were full.
The particular one I am on currently doesn't show everyone on the instance.to each other, you kinda have to know who to look for. The plus side is a LOT less questionable content showing up in feeds without subscribing to it.
This book was offered to me in during a hard time in life. It arrived shortly after life hit harder. This book helped me, I highly recomend!
