I need some help going from #postmarketos on a #oneplus6 to either stock Oxygen OS or directly to e/OS. I have tried to boot #twrp through fastboot boot twrp.img, but phone always goes into fastboot mode and not twrp.
I have spent hours browsing the web for a solution, but so far found nothing that helped. No problem getting back to postmarketos after doing fastboot erase etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@tomasoqvist I used the official MSM tool for oneplus 6 once to get back after having some problems with SIM on postmarketos, and then back again pmos after updating to latest oxygen. That worked well, but you unfortunately need a windows install AFAIK to use the tool. https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1541327

@isyourbrainFOSS After the tip that a recovery image needs dtbo in order to work, I fastboot flashed dtbo.img to both the a and b slot. After that, I could fastboot boot twrp.img as well as the /e/os recovery and directly install /e/os with adb sideload. I guess I could do the same with stock android.
