I have been daily driving PMOS edge with Gnome mobile on my OnePlus 6 for a week now. So far quite pleased with the performance, despite a few glitches, so I decided to donate some money to both of the providers making this possible - PMOS and Gnome. Thank you for making this possible. Looking forward to further development.

p.s. Managed to get the flashlight working today, another bonus! d.s.

@tomasoqvist 👍 I'm using the same setup! What are the glitches you are experiencing? Seems remarkably stable for me except for audio switching between headphones and speaker being a little unstable.

@interdependence It is much more stable than I expected, especially phone calls that didn't work the last time I tried PMOS. Occasional crashes, but to be expected running Edge I guess. There are a few annoying things, e.g. OSK not activating in all apps, copy/paste by long press not working everywhere, location services missing from system settings app (gitlab.com/postmarketOS/pmapor) and BT mouse and KB not working.

Overall though, such a nice experience!

@oausi I followed this guide gitlab.com/NekoCWD/nekotorch and then installed gnome-extensions from Flathub to enable it.

@tomasoqvist What about the "audio disappearing in calls" talked about on this page? wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/One

Also, were you able to get the GPS function to work?

@lebout2canap I am having an issue with locations services not being available through the system settings app right now, so no GPS.

@tomasoqvist Ok, thank you for this feedback. (If at any point a solution appears, do not hesitate to come back and update.)

@tomasoqvist I am switching once a while between #posh and gnome-mobile. What does anoy me on gnome-mobile is that I can't force the keyboard to show up as I can with phosh.

@usia Totally agree that a manual OSK activation should be implemented!

@lewiscowles1986 Yes, it is mainlin Linux. I try to stay as far away from Android an iOS as I can 😀.
