During the Paxton massacres of 1763, a mob of white settlers, so-called “Paxton Boys” murdered 20 unarmed Conestoga People in a genocidal campaign that reshaped Pennsylvania settlement politics.

@sylvia_ritter wow, so many great creations. I really loved Bubble Bunny Underworld and, of course, seeing a bunch of Ubuntu release names brought to visual medium.

I think I get the mistrust of the media. It took three articles to put together a picture of the SC #DemDebate ticket pricing. 400 tickets distributed to various people to be given to those they rub elbows with. And then gift tickets for sponsors giving $1750 or more.

Haven't seen an article that talked about attendance numbers. That would help put the 400 into perspective.

I've been streaming the debates. I had no idea that candidates could buy ad time for intermissions. It seems like it should be against the rules. It's essentially buying extra debate minutes.

Sometimes the spelling thing gets ridiculous. I read a ton, so I'll know that a word looks misspelled but won't know the right way to spell it without looking it up.

I can't spell. My grammar sucks. But I believe in the Oxford comma.

@Anarkat@hackers.town they once again conflated socialism with authoritarianism. While I liked Sanders answer to the misconception question, he could have addressed that socialism does not need to be authoritarian.
