@ataraxia937@fosstodon.org i wonder what data they have. With things like No Script Security Suite the internet is blissfully ad free. What would I see if the ads turned on? If I bump into a friend, talk about something, would Google have enough info to advertise it to me?

As it is, no ads, no friends, no worries...

Why do conservatives think they get to have a say in any of this? Just because you left the GOP doesn't turn you into a thought leader on the left. Shut up and get to the back of the line. If you knew how to beat Trump, wouldn't you have already done that? twitter.com/MaxBoot/status/122

@viv@toot.site any hints on what you're looking for?

@viv@toot.site haha that is great! It reminds me of how my company rolled out Office365. I asked IT a question on Yammer and they're like "we don't know what yammer is, please don't discuss company business on it."

Check out a new by @mysterio covering policies put forth by candidates for the US presidency over at anchor.fm/meepac/

The idea is to see what the written policies actually say since the debates and 2min interviews aren't enough time to get into it. Not to mention and notoriously waste their time saying nothing.

Episodes 1 and 2 are a reading of 's

@dublinux@mastodon.technology there was a Wikipedia page started. Wikipedia requires that a project be reported on in independant second party sources to be considered relevant enough to have a live page. Know any writers? Wanna cold contact one? I'd be willing to bug the same one.

I just discovered has per feed playback speed settings. These fine developers get it.

I know many are concerned over Bloomberg’s presence in Epstein’s Black Book, but don’t worry, he’s horrible to adult women too

@immychan sounds like you chose the American green option. I usually see tea in individual foil pouches, in a box, in plastic wrap. 🙁

Normal tea in America tastes like dirt but the earl grey here is pretty good, you give some and you take some I guess

@Main_Tomato@uwu.social i think this is the wrong idea. USB is quite flakey and mandating it stifles innovation. The article I saw on this said that it was to combat cable/charger electronic waste. They could have made it so USB charged devices were not bundled with cable/charger.

Further, if the real goal was reducing e-waste, they could have mandated a right to repair and documentation for installing OSes to give devices use beyond planned obsolescence.

@viv@toot.site woohoo!

Haven't tried the emoji picker ever. What are you using it for?

It's like my entire life prepared me for this... 🤔

The GNU Free project shut down in 2002, following their assessment of the technical infeasibility of secure internet voting.
