@checkervest you made it look so organic. How do you avoid a patterened or evenly distributed look?

I read a post about doing zero waste (imperfectly) by @InvaderXan and started reading up on it.

One big improvement for me would be cat litter. Right now we do clay litter that comes in a plastic bucket. We put it in a 30-40gal storage bin (no liner), scoop used and top off as needed. Does anyone have suggestions on brands with A) better packaging and B) better substrate that would allow a similar setup?

I had not heard of #LuneOS before. The icons and UI look great. I am definitely going to have to check it out (if I ever get a phone I can flash).

I hope #KDE fixes the window size thing. But I had issues with that on KDE #Neon when I installed to my desktop. The default window size for plasma-nm hid the button for adding VPN connections.

@kavbojka @yogthos@mastodon.social not just higher loan balances, but also higher loan rates specifically for students going to HBCUs. In overall loan cost it appears to be a 9% increase in cost.

It's probably worth noting that both the NPR story and linked watch dog report only look at Upstart. But Wells Fargo had a 5% "penalty" for community college.

I think The 1A or The Takeaway had an interview with a whistleblower from the 1990s. The government tried to prosecute him multiple times but the courts said he did nothing wrong yet he still can't get a job in his field. Apparently this is a typical outcome.

I have not heard of firing individuals, and their family, for testifying after a case had been opened. Please tell me this isn't standard practice. That seems like crime boss intimidation tactics.
