Trying to get Pleroma to install on my server
Elixir on Debian Stretch is too old so I have to use some weird fuckery to get it compiled what the fuck
Why do web services have to be so fucking over engineered

Mastodon and Misskey aren't any better, so what other good OStatus implementations can I use??

@thebitstick for real tho keeping elixir up to date with PPA or whatever isnt that big of a deal

@igel what PPA? I'm using Debian Stretch and everything here is too old

@thebitstick stretch? Install or upgrade to buster.
heres my erlang text file in sources.d
deb http://binaries.erlang-solutions.com/debian buster contrib

all this shit is on the elixir website

@igel `Skipping acquire of configured file 'contrib/binary-arm64/Packages' as repository 'binaries.erlang-solutions.com/ buster InRelease' doesn't support architecture 'arm64'`

@igel and i wouldn't need it if everyone spoke like the drug junkies at this hostel

@VD15 @thebitstick

@igel yeah I installed openmediavault on my rockpro64 and while x86 OMV already has buster I can't upgrade.
I could try breaking debian and install buster packages but eh, I'd rather not
