This. No one is ever saying GNU/Linux . And then you'd have to add all the other projects that are as important, if not more than the GNU tools. Everyone knows that when you say "Linux", you mean the entire OS, based on context, everything else is pedantic.

Just moved from #GitHub to @codeberg@mastodon.technology. While it and, by extension, #Gitea clearly draws a lot of its inspiration from GitHub, I much prefer Codeberg's cleaner look. @codeberg@mastodon.technology I use a 'throwaway email provider' with both GitLab and GitHub because I don't want my real email address to be associated with my commits in a public repository. Is there another way to authenticate myself besides using my actual email address to sign up?
@Tutanota The message counter for 'Inbox' doesn't update when I read my emails. I am using Tutanota Desktop on Linux Mint 20.
