@Linux4Everyone@fosstodon.org Do you prefer bashtop or bpytop? Personally, I find bpytop way more interesting just because I am trying to learn Python now. ๐Ÿ˜

@Linux4Everyone@fosstodon.org Wow! That was unexpectedly tough. ๐Ÿ˜† It was so cool. Thanks, dude!

@reay I watched an interesting video by on YouTube today. It's the perfect response to your question.

@reay If you are interested in knowing more about the difference between Illustrator and Inkscape, there is a great YouTube channel I follow called 'Logos By Nick'. Check it out.

@reay They sell phones with a de-Googled Android ROM called /e/ OS. It has its own app store, which has most of the apps you'll want from Play Store. They even have a partnership with Fairphone, if that's something you are interested in.

@protonmail I am learning Python and I want to send e-mails using a Python script. Most tutorials use Gmail and SMTP. Since ProtonMail supports SMTP, will I be able to do the same thing using Bridge?

@nitrokey Did you guys actually take this photo? ๐Ÿ˜‚

@JoseMariaHdz @unfa Yeah! Shotcut is great. I've seen quite a few YouTube videos, by people who aren't FOSS advocates, that praise Shotcut. There are even courses on Udemy for it.

@Tutanota Thanks! That did the trick! ๐Ÿ˜ I hope this bug gets fixed soon, though.

@JoseMariaHdz @unfa Kdenlive, Openshot and Olive are also based on Qt. The only fully-fledged GTK-based video editing applications I know of are Flowblade and Pitivi.

@Tutanota The unread counter badge for my inbox isn't working properly. It doesn't show the right number of unread emails. It takes about two or three emails for it to 'start counting' up or down.

@Linux4Everyone@fosstodon.org Looking good, dude! You are rocking your new hairstyle. ๐Ÿ’‡๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜Ž

@JoseMariaHdz @unfa I would go with Shotcut just because of the wealth of resources available for a beginner to learn to use it.

@JoshStrobl That's so cool! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ It's a pity that we still aren't able to get a premium experience like this on Linux. I really hope that day will come, though. Keep up the good work! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

@unfa You are a Level 5 creator on Odysee. You should be able to livestream. did a livestream over there, if you are interested. He kind of tests it out and even goes on to implement a chat overlay.

@gcrkrause @interru @unfa I would love to use cash for everything. There's just one problem: I can't buy anything online with it. Debit and credit cards can be annoying and are not always secure. Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are somewhat privacy invasive. Cryptocurrency has its flaws but it is not without use either.

@unfa I wasn't really talking about cryptocurrency. Besides, since you are already mirroring your videos to Odysee, I personally don't think it will make a huge difference if you host your livestreams there as well. It's a good alternative to doing livestreams on . Several creators are already doing it. I know PeerTube was also planning on implementing livestreams. If they have already, it would be great if you could host it there at least. It's just my opinion. ๐Ÿ™‚
