@JoshStrobl Cool...! Thanks, dude. ๐
@Linux4Everyone Looking good, dude! You are rocking your new hairstyle. ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ ๐
@JoseMariaHdz @unfa I would go with Shotcut just because of the wealth of resources available for a beginner to learn to use it.
@JoshStrobl That's so cool! ๐ฒ It's a pity that we still aren't able to get a premium experience like this on Linux. I really hope that day will come, though. Keep up the good work! ๐ช๐ฝ
@unfa You are a Level 5 creator on Odysee. You should be able to livestream. #ChrisTitusTech did a livestream over there, if you are interested. He kind of tests it out and even goes on to implement a chat overlay.
@gcrkrause @interru @unfa I would love to use cash for everything. There's just one problem: I can't buy anything online with it. Debit and credit cards can be annoying and are not always secure. Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are somewhat privacy invasive. Cryptocurrency has its flaws but it is not without use either.
@unfa I wasn't really talking about cryptocurrency. Besides, since you are already mirroring your videos to Odysee, I personally don't think it will make a huge difference if you host your livestreams there as well. It's a good alternative to doing livestreams on #YouTube. Several creators are already doing it. I know PeerTube was also planning on implementing livestreams. If they have already, it would be great if you could host it there at least. It's just my opinion. ๐
@unfa I understand that you may not like Odysee as it is built around cryptocurrency. However, technically speaking, isn't Odysee a more 'mature' video sharing platform than PeerTube? I hope you can reconsider.
@Deuxis I actually asked the same thing from @BrodieOnLinux and this was the response he gave me: https://social.librem.one/@sudo/105694525327793549. Although it would have been great to have links to Odysee, it's understandable as to why he can't do it. ๐
@Tutanota Although it isn't exactly an 'ad blocker', AdNauseam is also another great solution to this issue. It helps both content creators and users. You should consider recommending it as well.
Are you already using an ad-blocker?

If not, check out our recommendations and learn why ad-blocking is so important: https://tutanota.com/blog/posts/google-facebook-free ๐๐ช
@omgubuntu @mmk2410 I just got it as well. Thanks for the update!
@imakefoss Your Odysee channel is pretty bare. ๐ Do you have any plans of updating it, perhaps at least by syncing your YouTube channel to it?
@Tutanota I was kind of surprised to see Chromium (not Firefox) being featured in the screenshots on Tutanota's website, though. It's not a big deal but it does send 'mixed' messages to anyone who notices. ๐ค
@Tutanota I turned on my computer today to find that Tutanota hasn't automatically opened on startup. While trying to open it manually, I realized that it wasn't there at all! ๐ฌ I am on Linux Mint 19.3 and I had it as an AppImage. By the way, the Flatpak is still on v3.83.2.
