Yikes not only is mastodon.cloud constantly down (hence the Solus move, since I want to be able to always reach folks using or interested in Solus) but apparently it got sold off.
Kinda feel something as big as that would've warranted some sort of mass email rather than just a note in the announcements section that can be easy to miss.

@JoshStrobl That's interesting.... I always thought that most Mastodon instances were mainly 'hobbyist' or community-driven projects. I didn't think they'd have much monetary value. I wonder why they bought it. 🤔
