The #blockchain is an impressive new technology that was created to support the functioning of cryptocurrencies. It is simply a large, public and distributed 'database' that uses cryptography. It is this feature of a blockchain that makes cryptocurrency 'secure by design'. Most of us in the #FOSS world are already taking steps to secure our digital life. Perhaps, we should take an effort to protect our financial activities as well and #cryptocurrency may be our shot at this.
