In the wake of digital privacy becoming more important to users, organisations are forced to rethink their business models that are primarily based on surveillance capitalism. The issue for many organisations is that they are accountable to their shareholders first, which leads to a conflict of interest. What can be done about this? We must use tools from organisations that put the users' needs first, like NPOs and SPCs. Hopefully, more companies will be inpired to follow them. 😁 #privacy
