Just received my new Fair Phone 4, installed Ubuntu Touch 20.04, and everything seems to be working perfectly!

@neptune22222 What are the quality of the photos like? I want to move to just a Linux phone without a backup Android phone, but the main thing holding me back is being able to take decent (not cutting edge) photos, eg quality equivalent to mid-range Android 2010. I'm seriously considering carrying a separate camera, but it couldn't share images with apps easily to my Linux phone.

Wish I knew an effective way to contribute to the #MobileLinux camera stack!

@Blort Not on a Fairphone 4, but in my experience the Ubuntu Touch camera produces very good quality pictures and is very fast and responsive, with the main drawback being in terms of complexity rather than quality. There's not exactly an overload of extra functionality, which could be a blessing or a curse.

Then again, better to hear from someone with hands on experience with the device - I'm curious myself!
